I had an incredible experience with Trek Africa Expeditions. Carol was wonderful—she was so patient in helping me understand all the options and pick the best trek. It can be an overwhelming experience, but she was fantastic, and I felt like she was genuinely trying to provide the best possible tour. The actual tour experience was also brilliant. I went to Rwanda and Uganda, and everything worked very seamlessly. My driver was Sam, who was absolutely lovely and incredibly well informed. He shared a lot of knowledge with us throughout the journey.
We went with Trek Africa Expeditions for a 2 day Gorilla trek in Uganda, from Kigali, mainly to allow our 11yr old to participate. It was a lot of travel to get there, but our guide Ivan was fantastic, the host Bob at the lodge, and the admin support from Carol made the whole thing simple. It was an incredible experience- the highlight of our whole African safari adventure. I would highly recommend, and plan on using the company for future travels
